Job Decription: This position maintains a smooth flow of anesthetic cases, in a timely manner, by assisting the anesthesiologist before, during, and after induction. Has a working knowledge of anesthetic drugs and agents. Is able to pre-test the anesthesia machines and reports deficiency to appropriate manufacturing representive and leadership. Upon request, is able to prepare appropriate equipment necessary for invasive pressure lines,central venous lines, and regional blocks.. Is available to assist in room turnover as required.
Qualifications
- Associates or BS degree in a healthcare field preferred.
- Current BLS certification.
- Minimum fiVe (5) years experience as an anesthesia technician or technologist.
- ASATT certification preferred.
