SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Produce ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for use by physicians. Includes vascular technologists. Acts as a resource for less experienced employees.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- ARDMS RVT Registry required.
- Current BCLS certification required.
- Three (3) years' experience in a dedicated vascular laboratory required.
- Demonstrated proficiencies in vascular diagnostic studies including cerebrovascular/carotid, peripheral venous, peripheral arterial, and visceral vascular.
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) ? required prior to the end of the orientation period
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
- Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
