Duke Orthopedic Surgery and Duke Spine Division are seeking an additional mid-career Physiatrist, with great clinical acumen, maturity, and a commitment to provide high quality compassionate patient care to join Duke?s well-established Spine Program in Raleigh-Durham, NC. Applicants should be BE/BC in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine, plus should have completed an Interventional Spine/Pain Management fellowship. Experience in fluoroscopic and ultrasound guided spinal and peripheral procedures, including spine procedures, spinal cord stimulator, peripheral nerve blocks and/or stimulation is required. Interest and passion in clinical research, musculoskeletal procedures, and EMG/NCS are a plus.  

This is an excellent opportunity to join a national leader in patient care, education and research. Responsibilities will include consultation, evaluation, and comprehensive clinical care and management of patients with acute and chronic spine or musculoskeletal disorders. Successful candidates will be trained and confident in the identification of the etiologies and the determination of the best intervention strategies for the spine and/or musculoskeletal disorders, collaborating effectively with the surgical and non-surgical team. Teaching opportunities available through education and oversight for medical students, residents, fellows, and APPs. The new faculty members will work standard hours with no formal call responsibilities.
