Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our Pediatric Interventional Radiology team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment that delivers cutting-edge, minimally invasive procedures to children across Indiana and beyond.
As a key member of our pediatric IR team, you will collaborate with radiologists, nurses and other specialists to provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing image-guided procedures. You will play a vital role in pre-and-post procedure management, patient education and clinical coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct patient assessments and assist in planning interventional procedures
Provide pre-and-post procedural care, including follow-up evaluations
Educate patients and families about procedures, recover and ongoing care
Collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research as applicable
Qualifications
Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing
Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in Indiana (or eligibility)
Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
Pediatric experience strong preferred; interventional radiology experience a plus
Excellent communication, organization and critical thinking skills
