Atlantic Health System is Seeking a Chair for the Department of Anesthesiology at Chilton Medical Center in Pompton Plains, NJ

Atlantic Health System, one of the largest non-profit healthcare networks in New Jersey, is seeking an Anesthesiologist to lead the Department of Anesthesiology at Chilton Medical Center located in Pompton Plains, NJ. The Chairperson of Anesthesiology will provide clinical and administrative leadership to members of the department.

The Anesthesia Care team is comprised of 11 physicians and 5 CRNAs. The bread & butter case mix includes Orthopedics, light OB, Urology, General Surgery, Vascular, & Endo. The ideal candidate will be able to work well with colleagues in the department, OR staff, and surgeons. The Chairperson is responsible for all aspects of the department which includes oversight of department growth, quality, and safety. To maintain a clinical skillset and strong credibility within the department, the role includes an expectation to remain clinically active (70%).

Qualifications

• Ideally 7-10 years of experience
• Strong clinical leader with experience driving improvements in quality and safety
• Track record of progressive physician leadership roles
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
• Must be BC in Anesthesiology
