The Duke Department of Anesthesiology is seeking a full-time cardiothoracic anesthesiologist to work in both the Cardiothoracic OR and the CTICU at Duke University Medical Center. Ideal candidates will be BC/BE in Anesthesiology, possess fellowship training in both critical care and cardiothoracic anesthesiology, and board certification in perioperative transesophageal echocardiography. A commitment to teaching and research (in clinical, translational or basic sciences) is also desired. Both the Cardiothoracic ORs and the CTICU is located in Duke Medicine Pavilion, a modern surgical tower with 160 critical care rooms, 16 state of the art operating rooms, hybrid rooms and an imaging suite with iMRI and iCT technology.
