PRIMARY FUNCTION:Under the supervision of the Anesthesia Technician Supervisor/Coordinator, CRNA, and/or Anesthesiologist involved with all surgical cases, the Anesthesia Lead Technician oversees supporting the anesthesiologists and nurse anesthetists with patient care tasks, staff assignments, facilitation of caregiver education, recruitment, and retention strategies, in addition to supply and equipment maintenance.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Serves as liaison and resource for staff and customers regarding room setups, equipment repairs and sterilization, supply availability, and pediatric cases.Partners with Periop NPDS to identify and support educational needs and in-service planning.
