SUMMARY OF POSITION:

At minimum, the Level I Cardiovascular Technologist is responsible for assisting the physician(s) with all routine scheduled diagnostic and interventional, and emergent adult procedures. Primary clinical roles include scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring/recording during cardiovascular and peripheral procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

Either graduate of a diploma, associate or baccalaureate academic program in health science (including cardiac electrophysiology, cardiovascular technology, or radiologic technology) plus two (2) years of Cardiac Catheterization lab experience.

BLS and ACLS certification required within 6 months from date of hire. 

PALS certification required within 12 months from date of hire. 

Must possess or obtain RCIS, CI, or VI certification with the within 24 months from date of hire.
