The Lead Special Procedures Radiology Technologist is responsible for performing radiography and fluoroscopy during invasive procedures, under the direction of a physician. The Technologist will be responsible for assisting supervision of radiology technologist activities, maintaining imaging equipment quality controls and assisting in ordering supplies. The radiology technologist may assist the physician by scrubbing and monitoring physiologic hemodynamic data, as related to the procedures. The radiology technologist will assist in patient care and preparation of the lab by performing routine and delegated technical and clerical duties.
