The Position

• The Senior Director of Perioperative Services will provide leadership and oversight for all Perioperative Services departments, covering 14 OR’s, four multipurpose rooms, four GI rooms and eight satellite surgery center OR’s.
• The Senior Director will identify and execute strategies to enhance the quality of patient care through enhanced teamwork and close collaboration with hospital leaders at all levels. 
• Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Patient Care, the Senior Director of Perioperative Services will be supported by a team of directors, medical staff and managers across multiple campus locations.
• The Senior Director will be responsible developing and evaluating staff selection, training and retention strategies. As well as collaborating with leadership in each of the departments to develop and/or revise standards of care with attention to evidence-based practice. 
• The ideal candidate will be a confident, subject matter expert in their field and serve as a model employee for future leaders. This candidate will have excellent communication skills and demonstrate servant leadership style in order to help elevate all team members experience/engagement.
• Minimum five years clinical experience, preferably in pediatric nursing, and five years previous experience working in a nursing leadership role at a director level or above is required. 
• BSN degree required; Masters required.
