Medical Instrument Technician (Cardiac Catheterization)
The Cardiology Medical Instrument Technician (MIT) at the Clement J. Zablocki Veterans Affairs Medical Center, is part of the Medical Division Cardiac Catheterization, Electrophysiology Labs (CCL/EPL). The primary purpose of this position is to provide support for a variety of highly technical invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures. BASIC REQUIREMENTS: - Must be a citizen of the United States. - Must be proficient in spoken and written English PREFERRED Associates Degree in Invasive Cardiovascular Technology is preferred ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) Certification is preferred Registration by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification is desirable Registered Cardiology Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)
