The Section on Pulmonary, Critical Care, Allergy and Immunology of Wake Forest School of Medicine is seeking Pulmonary and Critical Care physicians to join our faculty. Candidates at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor rank will be able to join our faculty and thrive in an inclusive environment that provides exceptional clinical care, research and medical education.  

Selected candidates will join a dynamic, receptive, highly motivated section with successful clinical and research programs in airways disease, critical care, interventional bronchoscopy, and general pulmonology. The section is expanding its pulmonary programs in thoracic oncology, interventional pulmonology, sleep medicine, pulmonary hypertension and interstitial lung diseases. The Section on Pulmonary, Critical Care, Allergy & Immunologic Diseases has internationally recognized clinical and research programs in critical care medicine, airways diseases (asthma, COPD, cystic fibrosis). Total external funding (including NIH, foundations and industry) exceeded over $4 million in the past year.  All faculty teach medical students, residents and fellows.  The Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship is highly competitive program that is actively expanding both the number of fellows and training locations.
