Job Summary: The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing an age-specific patient assessment prior to and during the ultrasound/vascular procedure, preparing the room and the patient for the procedure. The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for the operation of the diagnostic ultrasound equipment for the performance of all ultrasound procedures at a technical level not requiring direct supervision.
