The Medical Instrument Technician (Echocardiograph) works in coordination with the cardiology team at the Harry S Truman Memorial Veterans' Hospital in order to provide ultrasound imaging of the heart for cardiac diagnostic testing. The echocardiographer should possess the ability to work with, learn new techniques as the field of diagnostic echocardiography grows and participation in quality improvement activities.
