The Vascular Tech performs duties directly involved with a variety of specialized technical procedures applying ionizing radiation or other forms of energy. The Vascular Tech must have a sound knowledge of all procedures being performed in the endovascular operating room (EVOR). The Vascular Tech maintains the equipment and supplies in the EVOR. The Vascular Tech operates all equipment according to manufacturersâ�� specifications.
Required: AA Degree
Preferred: Two (2) years experience as an interventional radiologic technologist is preferred; previous endovascular procedures training a plus
ARRT registered, Florida CRT license, and American Heart Association BLS certification required
Vascular Interventional Radiography credential required within 12 months of hire into the EVOR Technologist position
