Supervisory Medical Instrument Technician (Vascular)
The Medical Instrument Technician (Vascular) is directly responsible for the day-to-day operation, administration, strategic development, and overall implementation of policies in the noninvasive vascular diagnostic lab, plus supervision of other technologist employee(s) in the vascular laboratory at the WRJVAMC. Demonstrated Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: A high degree of technical skills are required in the following areas: Cerebrovascular exams: carotid & vertebral extracranial duplex examination, transcranial Doppler examination of intracranial arteries, and to the extent technically possible, duplex evaluation of intra-thoracic carotid, innominate and subclavian arteries.
