The Technologist provides services to patients and physicians through the creation of high quality diagnostic imaging, provides quality age-appropriate patient care according to established standards of practice, and works collaboratively with all members of the health care team. The interventional technologist assists with invasive procedures in the Interventional angio suites, collects and assesses image data and performs scrub role assisting the radiologist.

• Identifies relevant data from images accurately.

• Accurately completes computer functions; edits, scheduling, billing, status changes and image transfers in a timely manner

Correctly operates equipment according to accepted standards and guidelines

During invasive procedures is able to achieve and maintain homeostasis manually or with mechanical device of physician choice when required

Assists the Radiologistrequired catheter and wire manipulationwhile maintain the required sterile technique

ARRT registration

Preferred:

ARRT IR certification or successful completion within 18 months of hire
