The Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative, and Pain Medicine at Stanford University is seeking applications for faculty positions in Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiology. This role is suitable for all academic levels and requires working at the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing anesthesia for pediatric cardiac surgical cases, cardiac catheterization, radiology, and non-cardiac surgical cases. They will join a team of 10 pediatric cardiac anesthesiologists at the Betty Irene Moore Heart Center, which offers specialized programs in pulmonary artery reconstruction, heart transplant, ventricular assist devices, single ventricular program, bloodless program, and adult congenital heart disease program.
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. Completion of an anesthesiology residency. Specific fellowship training or equivalent experience in Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia. Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology and Pediatric Anesthesiology.
